I wish more people chose such pointed and specific thread titles. "Former" is just a quibble. He was undoubtedly "invited" to resign. What reason did he give? Was it "In the interests of preserving my thumbs I have decided to screw myself by resigning"?

The Republican web of corruption is unravelling. It seems that Katrina blew away the last few shreds of the emperor's clothes and now he and the Republicans are becoming more exposed by the minute.
