66. I Love Anybody Who Ever Does Anything Good For Animals, But
I would never diss any animal rescuers no matter what! But I just am reminded how the missing ADULT HUMAN PEOPLE are so ignored after Katrina. My friend has never turned up, is not on any list anywhere, and this is something that is just not discussed on the news. Just like the body count and IDing process and all of it, the dead and missing from Katrina have been abandoned totally.

I was bummed to see the FEMA page all Cute Puppy With Lady Rescuer NOT because I begrudge the rescue, only because there was NO info anywhere on the goddmanmed page about what to do if your friends or family are still missing. Like, nothing! I had to find out about the DNA bank by googling for a newspaper article.

At any rate I'm in no way anti-animal rescue I hope nobody took an earlier post in that way -- I'm just for taking care of EVERYBODY humans and pets and kids and everybody.
