31. to point three - the left actually thinks policies are more imp
than symbols, and that matching policy to rhetoric (rather than the orwellian mismatch between rightwing rhetoric vs policy) matters.

I believe that the focus on policy is important - and why, as a country, we have fared better under democratic presidents. However the use of symbols to market and better highlight those policies would be a vast improvement.
