I don't think anyone has explained yet how it is that the former chair of both the Dem Governors Association AND the NATIONAL Governors Association, AND a former member of the DLC can be a political outsider.

I just don't get that. Am I to understand that he talked to NOBODY the entire time he was governor and chair(even though he was escorting Mrs. Bayh to functions), and that he has NO connections because of his family's history at Smith Barney and Wall Street?

Yeah. Okay.
