31. Fitz did discuss the possible relevance of the *Espionage Act*,
as it were in passing, emphasising that a prosecutor should be very careful in its application, should make sure, as it were, of all the facts and circumstances and motivations, and even then apply using maximum judgement and with great caution - so as not to encourage the imposition of the kind of blanket prohibition on revealing information obtained in the course of the exercise of one's duties such as in the case of that dastardly English (sic) Official Secrets Act.

Hmmm. I wonder if in the course of his investigations he attempted to seek the cooperation of 'officials' in the British Government and was stonewalled...
