Why take Dean's word that he would have voted "No"?

And even if YOU want to believe him... None of the rest of us have to... and we have good reason NOT to... that is, Dean's own voting record as Govenor.

Dean has no Political Core and does whatever will further his career.

Look at his Economic Record... when he wanted to be a tax cutting "Fiscal Conservative" he touted himself as such but then he turned around 180 degrees and raised taxes.... after dissrespecting Washington Liberals and their "hyper-enthusiasm for taxes".

Dean "You folks at Cato," he told us, "should really like my views because I'm economically conservative and socially laissez-faire." Then he continued: "Believe me, I'm no big-government liberal. I believe in balanced budgets, markets, and deregulation. Look at my record in Vermont." He was scathing in his indictment of the "hyper-enthusiasm for taxes" among Democrats in Washington.

So Dean has a history of bashing Liberal Democrats- even the ones who fight to get money to state governments and help Governors like Dean out.
