16. Marriage has survived polygamy, a zillion religions, ownership of spouse,
convenience, political marriages, pre-arrangement.....but gay marriage is going to destroy it according to the bigots.

What's even more incredible is we are supposed to believe that marriage actually recognizes national boundaries. So if say, Canada allows gay marriage, but the US doesn't, marriage will magically survive.

Of course some countries have allowed gay marriages for the better part of a decade and I have yet to hear any reports of the entire population of heterosexuals dissolving their marriages and/or becoming homosexual and/or stopped having kids and/or stopped getting married.

Still haven't heard any reports of hellfire and brimstone being rained down on any of those countries either so I guess the Gods and/or Goddesses of Earth, Wind, and Fire (and possibly also Kool and the Gang) are okay with it too or at least neutral.
