In fairness to Kerry's supposed sudden "conversion" to the anti-war movement, he is just following up consistent with his IWR vote by pointing out that 'til now Bush had his trust to act responsibly (as in not attacking Iraq unilaterally) as per his statement yesterday:

"We need to stand up to this president. They’ve already proven they can’t be trusted, they’ve already proven that they’re willing to mislead..."
