No, seriously, everyone deserves thanks for pressing the issue. I guess I was thinking about a "Stone Soup" cartoon someone posted the other day, about someone dying, and the obituary read, "raised her four kids by herself, was active in this and that, lobbied her city council for more park space in the city," etc., and then her occupation was listed as "homemaker."

But, you're right, too--protecting democracy is an equal-opportunity job description.
