7. Sheesh--who really is pro-troops here?

3 months ago, I was protesting the war, which meant I wasn't "supporting the troops (bushit)." At the same time, I was e-mailing like crazy to try to prevent vets benefits from being cut.

Now I want them out; I'm concerned that they are sitting ducks, and it seems to me that my position hasn't changed one iota.

Tell me, who are the real political opportunists?
