Sure, they may survive but many will live a lifetime with debilitating injuries and at the same time see their veteran benefits cut. The military is also attempting to hide the number of soldiers who are experiencing symptoms of exposure to depleted uranium. That is truly the quiet killer that gets very little attention. The reports I've read state the military used twice as many of those weapons in this war as they did in the Gulf War. According to the veterans administration, over 10,000 have died from being poisoned by these weapons and over 100,000 are disabled from it. I'd like to stick those stats up Rush' cystic ass and see him rotate for a while.
