This is frightening. This war has stirred up hatred among Muslims toward Americans. The lack of sensitivity shown by our government -- those unelected people who represent us to the world -- only makes things worse. Displaying the bodies of Saddam's sons like war trophies was probably the stupidest thing Rummy and Dickie could have done -- except of course, use the mortician's putty to fix up their faces. It shows great insensitivity to religious customs. We Americans will pay for this in more lives, both of our servicepeople and civilians.
