12. Not weird
If you take all councils across the U.S., I wouldn't be surprised if half are still ALL MEN, with a good 40% all WHITE MEN.

The one I serve on is all white men (and 6 out of 7 are Democrats).

It's just that in this town, I'd be surprised if there'd ever been a woman or minority council member.

That said this area is going through rapid development and growth and the population of the borough has moderated enough that the council finally sent a police officer to learn Spanish.

And all police officers are white men. All the employees are men, except two... The secretarys.

Hey - I've only been on council for three months - so don't yell at me ;)
