I'm not really sure what he's done. I don't think anybody does, except those involved.

Whatever it was, though, I hope he pulls himself out of this. He's still on scholarship at OSU, and may be able to practice with them this season. I'm thinking that staying, keeping his nose clean, and doing whatever is necessary to put this mess behind him is the best option.

But whatever he does, I hope it works out for him, and I hope OSU provides whatever support is necessary (without breaking any rules).

I'd love to see him come back to Ohio State and kick some ass. I've changed my mind on this from when I posted earlier. My thinking, after some reflection, is "Whatever is best for Maurice. And if it helps OSU, too, so much the better. Just don't break any rules or undermine OSU in any way."

I wish him the very best of luck. He's just a kid, you know? It's not like he hit someone in the head with a beer bottle. (One game suspension, by the way.)
