2. Guardsman John Doe is suing over stop/loss
They don't give his name, just John Doe. His tour, which was to be for a year (signed up last year) has been extended to 2006-in Iraq. Doe contends that stop/loss is only to be used in war, not in nation building. NPR said the courts will probably say tough luck. But news of this has got to be having an effect on recruitment, especially in the Guard.
