Being a farmer, , and having to call vets sometimes, I am always shocked to hear of the prices charged for meds by the vets. Small animal vets are shysters. Not all are tho, I have to take my dog in for rabies shots, the law in Ca.I go to a vet that charges only $7. , and for heartworm, I get Ivermectin from overseas, a pill.I have saved much by procuring the meds myself, and shopping, asking prices.Small animal vet work costs as much , or more than a M.D.This is ridiculous.
