Heard on the radio, but I missed all the details...

In a nutshell, this highschool has a traditional crossdressing day which dates back to some lost football wager in the 30s. It's gone on for decades without any opposition, but all of a sudden, in Bush's Murika, some member of the PTA decided that crossdressing = the promotion of homosexuality in school, and managed to get it cancelled.

And what was "crossdressing day" replaced with, in Bush's Murika? Why "dress like a soldier day", of course, 'to support the troops'.

As if these kids won't be playing soldier for real in a couple of years.

I'd love an official link, if anyone has one...
