by the pump while they go inside to pay. And while inside they go to the bathroom, microwave some gross food, dispense a slush puppy, read some magazines, buy some scratch-off lottery tickets and scratch them off while they are there, instead of pulling up and parking in front of the convenience mart thus allowing for other people to pump their gas!

BTW, this happened to me today at a very busy gas station/convenience mart. I do not know what the driver of the car in front of me was really doing inside for so long, I'm just guessing.;)
