Assuming you have XP, have you done a clean-up and a disk defragmenter on your computer lately? Kept up with your Anti-Virus updates and do a scan once a week?

Position your cursor on Start, click, move it to Accessories then System Tools and click on Disc Cleanup. After that's over, then do the same thing but click on Disc Defragmenter.

The sites you load often will load pretty quickly because the information is already stored in your computer and only looks for changes.
