she sleep at my feet but when it's wakeup time, she climbs onto my head. when i push her off or shift or whatever, she just gets up and lies down on my forehead again until i wake up.

what wakes HER up is my alarm clock, which is on radio but so quiet you can really only hear the initial click. unless you're a doggie, apparently.

on weekdays i do have a foghorn-like backup alarm clock, though i'm almost always awake to turn it off before it can wake the entire neighborhood.
