When he was being touted for having 4 HR's in 4 games or some such, I thought to myself: "Watch him get injured in a few days...".

I swear I didn't intend for it to happen. :evilgrin:

Your friend is right. He took his great gifts for granted, and that "Kid" of long ago Seattle is nothing more than a pouty, whiny brat.

Is it any wonder the honeymoon in his "hometown" (he was born in PA, but because Dad played for Cincy, ho hum...) never really materialized?

I don't miss him. Besides, don't you think Mike Cameron has a much nicer smile? :D Seriously, Cammy is a class act through and through. He knew he had to make us forget the "Kid", and he did so immediately, upon making that spectacular catch during his Mariner debut.
