18. Pubic hairs on the sheets and lipstick on the glass--WITH the paper cover.
The black underwear at the foot of the unmade bed was a nice touch too...

We "checked out" as soon as we could drag our luggage back down to the desk.

Now, on a funny note, hubby and I went to New Orleans on our honeymoon. We decided we wanted to see the rest of the state, so we headed out into the bayou country. Beautiful day--lovely stuff to see with honest to gosh French/Zydeco songs on the car radio.

We decided to go ahead and find a motel for the night and found one of those old fashioned ones that was little cabins. The office was a guy standing in his living room ironing--an absolute sweetie and extremely nice--but definitely a new experience for us both.

The cabin was clean, and functional. It was nothing elegant, but it was a bed and a bathroom. (Besides, we were NEWLYWEDS--who CARES about the decor--right?)

Bedtime rolls around and hubby jumps in bed. He rolls to the center of the bed. I get in bed and I roll into the center of the bed. Neither of us could move because the center of the bed is like a canyon...

Worst bed I have ever not slept in.
