4. Reminds me of my grandmother
Until around age 10, I lived in Union City, NJ. My grandparents owned a 2 family house with attached embroidery factory. We lived downstairs & they lived upstairs. We had a major tenement building down the block and were the only white family on the block...as such, we basically ignored most things going on outside the apartment. One day, we here incoherent yelling directly outside the door. It was ignored, because it was something we heard all the time.

It was my grandmother...getting mugged.

However, my grandmother is a crazy, evil woman. It ended up that she chased the guy a few blocks and he ended up running into an accident scene filled with cops. My grandmother ended up getting restrained...she kept hitting the guy after he was cuffed.

My dad worked for the city as a building inspector and was friends with all the cops. They were like, "woah, you always said your mother-in-law was crazy, but man, I didn't think she was that crazy."
