4. I moved like Harlow in Monte Carlo ... and showed 'em what I got ...
I've looked at "I've Never Been to Me" in a whole new light since I saw "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," and saw Hugo Weaving, as a drag queen, lip synching it ("I took the hand of a preacher man ..." was particularly well illustrated!)

I have the "Priscilla" soundtrack, and I have to say that I now sing that puppy at the top of my lungs ("I took the sweet life and never knew I'd be bitter from the sweet ... lalalala") whenever I play it. When "Never Been to Me" first came out, I was a young woman and had my whole life ahead. Now, I kind of understand where ol' Charlene is coming from.

So, I guess I'll have to give the thumbs-down to "Feeeeelings ... trying to forget my ... feeeeelings of love ..."
