i'll try not to sound patronizing here, but you have alwys had a finger on the pulse of this place from the get go. i have been here since the begining as well, and you are 100% on the money. i have managed to avoid the pope threads because i am not a catholic and it really holds no water for me, but the "mann coulter" threads drained me.....someone else said it before my post...even after someone legitimatly says "i'm sorry", it seems that others with thinner skin can not seem to let it go and forgive and forget....it seems like we have turned into the very beast we have tried for 6 long years to battle...my way or the highway...no quarter...some posters and groups of posters have forgotten that we as liberals, and yes that includes moderates and far lefties too, are the party of understanding, forgivness and progressivness. i will go as far as to say some have become out and out hypocrites. we all need to take a long look in the mirror, because we are biting the bait the right has left for us...hook, line and sinker. i hope we wake up, or we are forever doomed to our current position.....
