43. Constantine didn't deserve to go, but Bo did!
Edited on Thu Apr-28-05 12:08 AM by Seabiscuit
Both of them put in some of their worst performances last night (because every time they go back to their "rocker" styles they stink up the joint) but Bo was a lot worse even than Constantine, and for the second week in a row (actually, Constantine is constistently better). Bo's a very nice guy, but I think he realizes Constantine's the better singer.

The problem is the judges, not one of whom has any musical taste or knowledge or sensibility whatsoever, keep mooning over Bo, and so does the entire Fox network. He'll probably win it, because they give him the most publicity. The Fox, I mean, Fix is in.

But don't knock our little blond Ukrainian friend Anthony, and especially don't knock Scott (the heavy guy). They can both sing circles around either Bo or Constantine. Scott especially I could listen to easily in the car. He has the best pure voice of the whole bunch. He deserves to win it all on talent alone - but of course he won't, because the judges comment more about their bizarro notions of appearance and "stage presence" (whatever the fuck they think that is from one week to the next) than about anything having to do with musical performance, and face it, Scott's no "pretty boy".
