Why would anybody discuss such a thing with a child?! And her mother should have told whoever asked this question that it was just inappropriate. What is wrong with the mother? That was a nice article, until I got to that part. I am sure that this child has no real understanding of what this question meant, until it was described to her, as it was, and who would have responded otherwise, when told this? I certainly understand the reason she answered, as she did, and she may carry such beliefs into adulthood. But she should not be expected to face such questions at age 10. She may be precocious, but she's still a child.:-(
