22. Happy Halloween, Mina

Thanks for another great thread. Halloween is still so much fun for me so I guess I never grew up. I'm sorry your earliest memories of this fun day are tinged with racism. No child should have to go through that and it saddens me that it still exists to some extent today. I still have hope that I'll see the end of it in my lifetime.

1. What is your favorite brand of candy? ( If you no longer partake of candy what *was* your favorite?)

I love candy even though I don't indulge myself like I did when I was a kid. My fave was always something chocolate, like you, but I also liked sugar daddies and bit-o-honey and squirrel nut zippers. Guaranteed to rip a filling or two out if you had them. Nowadays I like some nice Dove dark chocolate.

2. FOR 2003 HALLOWEEN DAY ONLY: What political candidate (elected or not), past, present or future, would you want to be for Halloween 2003?

Haha, if I really wanted to scare people I'd go out trick-or-treating as Dick Cheney.

3. What is your all time favorite "scary" movie ?

I *LOVE* scary movies. My favorites are probably too many to mention, mostly vampire flicks, but I plan to watch The Legend of Hell House this year. Haunted house movies are so much fun to watch on Halloween with all the lights out in the house. I'll also see what cable has on this year.

4. What are your plans for Halloween 2003?

A few friends and I are going to take a tour at Eastern State Penitentiary which is supposed to be haunted. I was there once in the daytime and I was scared silly so I can hardly wait for Friday night.

Here's some candy for you.
