I'm beginning to think the Halloween is as much of a pain as Christmas, in terms of the amount of time and money dedicated to it. My kids have their Halloween party at school tomorrow. Two weeks ago we bought the candy,and each kid painstakingly counted out and filled enough bags for the kids in their class, + one extra just in case.

Then just now, the 6th grader says "Oh by the way, I need 13 more treats for the party tomorrow". 13 MORE TREATS!!! It seems that they're having a joint party with the 5th graders. Nice of them to tell us the night before the party.

She's lucky I have candy here to hand out to the trick or treaters, or those 13 extra kids would be S.O.L. :)
