Yup, seen them six times. The first in '80 or so, the last about six years ago. First heard them in '79 on SNL, doing the Hallelujah chorus. Couldn't believe what I was hearing.
They've broken up now. Some kind of row I've heard, but who knows. Maggie and Suzzy have a relatively new CD out called Zero Church based on poems, some good, some not so good, by other people, mostly amateurs. Some of it's great - "Prayer," words by a Vietnam War vet, makes me cry everytime I hear it - but a lot of it makes me cringe in embarrasment. At least it's from the left.
Lead Zep and the Roches - There's a combination you don't hear that often.:thumbsup:
