When I was about 7 and in a huge ass Lincoln type car with about 6 other family members going 80 down a Pennsylvania highway I opened the glove compartment and just pushed the button that I saw there. You know, the one that opens the trunk with all the suitcases in it. Nothing fell out, thank goodness.
