Apparently I was wrong, but it seemed as though you were saying that if I prefered 50 Cent then I could have him, which was clearly not the intention of my post.

It wasn't an insult, just a blunt observation. (And apparently an incorrect one, so I apologize.)

As for whether it's debatable or not? It's always debatable. Whether or not a musician is a genius is subjective for the most part, and there's always going to be disagreement. I happen to think that he's nowhere near on par with the artists I listed. You disagree. That's what happens when personal tastes come into play. Just because you think he's undeniably a genius doesn't make it so. (And the opposite is also true, just because I think he's less of a genius than others doesn't necessarily make that true either.)
