6. Citroens have a hydraulic suspension system
I own an old 1969 DS 21. It's the smoothest ride in the world. You barely know you're going over speed bumps. I think they still hold the patent on the technology after all these years and license it to Rolls Royce, who use it on the rear suspension. You have to put a green fluid in periodically. When you turn on the ignition, the car rises into the air for a few inches. It's murder though when the car won't start and you have to put it on a flat bed truck as there's almost no clearance from the ground.
