Another way to do it is go to Start ---> Search ---> For files or Folders and type in the word 'cookies'. It takes awhile and you will see them on the right in the box. You must open the folders and delete them but it will not alllow you to delete the index.

You may find several folders with cookies in them. You need to check each folder to be certain you've gotten rid of them all.

Also, the program 'spybot' which you can d/l for free I would highly recommend as you can delete all tracking cookies sent to you while you are online. Spybot can be downloaded off the net - search under the words 'download spybot'.
