5. Aww...
Ya know, I have had this horrible toothache, and haven't been feeling well, and I've been feeling really stressed out and irritable...

And then I took a moment and thought about how silly it is to let the little crappy details of life bring you down when there is so much good all around us...

For instance, today I went out with a friend of mine and my daughter, and she was in a horrible mood (most likely a reflection of my own attitude, which was not good, as previously stated) and I was getting really exasperated with her as she stood crying in the middle of Staples...

I could have just picked her up and danced around the store and made her smile--but I didn't because I let myself get caught up in the negative aspect of that moment instead of seizing the opportunity to be nutty.

And I quit smoking, and my husband is coming home on Friday, and I got new kitchen curtains--I have a lot to be happy about, so I am damned well going to be happy!

:)
