I was bit bitter, but he was a very sweet man and I was curious to see where it would lead. We had been friends of a sort for some time. He opened up to me in a way long before we even began to think of a relationship that made me know we were kindred spirits. I was coming out of a painful divorce and my other experiences in the relationship realm in the interim left me a bit raw. This man was so good to me, so kind, so passionate, so loving, so honest, so open that there was this one moment where he looked at me with such purity in his eyes, that I KNEW, I fucking knew a truth that I had never felt before.

Then, on the way home, I listened to the CD he made for me. Tears poured out of my eyes- a release, a catharsis like somewhere in my mind and heart I knew that every ounce of pain I had went through was for a purpose and that purpose was him. Well, it was us.

We've been together almost a year now and I'm going to be his wife by this time next year. He is my Karma, my love, my future. :loveya:
