If he was gonna retire, he'd do it already. He's in no hurry and he damn sure doesn't hold out for money, he doesn't need too. If anything he wants to have a winning team, in the past he has restructured his contract to help out with the salary cap.
Maybe its wishful thinking, but reports have indicated he is "negotiating" with the team. Maybe he is angling to help form a winning squad?

Of course if he wants to win, fewer interceptions would go a long way....
