8. Magua is probably one of the greatest portrayals of villainy
every put on film. Wes Studi is so completely convincing.
This was great work. He totally embodies this character.

The character is so essential to the movie. In every nuance
and overt act...he is great. There are so many great performances
here that its hard to know who is most impressive. Daniel Day-Lewis,
of course, is so compelling as Hawkeye. For a Brit, he totally
captures my view of what MAKES america (the good stuff anyway).

Madeline Stowe...so beautiful and her ability to convincingly 'show'
the power of love as it overcomes her.
