I've had some of the most awesome "friends with benefits" relationships, back in my late teens and early twenties. But it was the right time, the right context, and they were the right people. We were on the same page. No one was secretly hoping for something "more." It's just like group sex. It has to evolve very organicly. You can't force it. And most of the time, it's a big mess with unhappy results. But if everything lines up in the right way, it's great.

Anyway, I just have to chime in on every one of these threads this morning. I can't help it.
