25. For the exact same reason that my husband watches the Westerns Channel (Encore) and thinks I'm
interested too. :yoiks: He has it on in the background practically all the time during the day when I'm at work, and he does it on the weekends a lot of times. He knows all the cowboy movies by heart and calls me in every freaking time something halfway interesting to him happens. Never mind that I'm in the middle of scrubbing toilets or posting on DU or something just as exciting... And you're right---it's about every 40 seconds by my watch. I have asked him in a nice way many, many times not to worry about calling me about stuff like that, because it's not my cup of tea. He still does it anyway, and I've had to get firmer about it.

The issue is actually a lot deeper in our case. He shows a complete lack of respect for me and for anything I am doing when he demands my presence at times like that. He never realized it until we talked about it in counseling. (Never mind that I had been telling him that for a long time. :eyes:) But he still does it, and I still get irritated.
