26. be sure the doctor tests for b12 deficiency, pernicious anemia

i'm thinking you're around my age or thereabouts so if this advice is too "old" for you, sorry, it can well be i've got you mixed up w. someone else

anyways...even if you are not a vegetarian, you can get a b12 deficiency in middle age or older because some people lose the ability to use the b12 they get from their food

a friend's dad (not a vegetarian or vegan) had it and while he could not regain the memory and intelligence level he had before developing the disease, he was able to stop the progression, unfortunately he waited quite a while before he understood how bad the problem was and got tested, and you don't get back what you have lost, so he did lose quite a bit of brain function before he started getting the injections

so it's really worth testing for since once discovered it can so easily be kept in check -- i would urge anyone w. memory loss to ask about pernicious anemia!

i had your same experience w. melatonin, except i couldn't even stay down five hours, ugh, that is just not enough sleep for me to function well, i guess it's okay for the short period sleepers who really only need 4 or 5 hours a night but i'm not martha stewart last time i looked! :-)

let us know if the lunesta helps, i think it will if you can get enough hours sleep each night
