it took 5 years to get past the anger phase but I'm still stuck in the wounded, resentment phase.

We expect some romantic relationships to end badly and give us baggage but friendships can be just as toxic. I think it hurts more because we don't expect it from friends.

The absolute worst though is to be betrayed by family. I don't know if that anger and pain ever goes away.
