1. Which do you prefer? The cake or the icing? Depends on the cake, depends on the icing. If it's grocery-store bakery cake, I have to admit that I love that awful really-bad-for-you icing they use that's made from basically just Crisco and powdered sugar.

2. What do you wear on your feet around the house? Slippers with hard bottoms. I have dogs, and they're always dragging in leaves/twigs onto the floor. I hate stepping on the crap.

3. What's your favorite thing to do on a Sunday morning? Summer: Coffee on the deck, by the pool. Winter: snuggling in bed, watching CBS Sunday Morning.

4. If you could travel anywhere you wanted right now, where would you go? To the little town on the Amalfi Coast where we honeymooned.

5. Do you like to dance? What kind of dancing? Anything not requiring Western Wear or jazzhands.

6. What's your favorite movie? Do you have a copy? More than one (and if so, how many)? To Kill A Mockingbird. Yes, I own a copy.

7. Are you superstitious? Nope.

8. Do you like to sing? If so, what's your favorite place to sing? Yes. Everywhere.

9. What's your favorite animated show of all time? Probably South Park.

10. Ever say something stupid to someone you liked, or do anything stupid around them, because you got all anxious when they talked to you? Please tell us about it? I met the President once. (No, not the present one.) I stammered like an idiot, and felt like a complete fool. I was told afterwards that he found me "charming" -- but I know now that that's the kind of bullshit handlers tell people.
