and I know that it's not anybody's fault in the call center but whoever does HR/hiring for techs in southern New England for Comcast needs to be subjected to the techs they employ. One guy tried to tell me that I needed RJ-11 sockets and connectors instead of RJ-45 (actually the correct term is 8P8C) for my home network and that Cat-5 wire was insufficient. That's an "oh really!" moment if there ever was one.
