66. It is not the band's so much, it is the people that see them.....
instead of seeing real original music.

Here in my town, tribute band reign king. they pack three clubs every night.

Put original music in those clubs and NOBODY comes out to see it. I know a lot of guys in tthe tribute bands and they all tell, it pays the bills. They all play original music but they cannot draw people to the shows.

But play some Stevie Wonder covers and 500 people are in the audience.

This is all about the radio. Classic Rock. They play that shit over and over over and over and that is all people want to hear. "tequila Sunrise".
