10. the greatest damned computer ever made
at the time there were only apple2e's and sinclair zx81 spectrums and horrid little tandy's. Then a shining new computer came from commodore the VIC20 - 5 whole K of memory with a big slot in the back where you could stick in big brown cartridges with 8 or even 16k of additional memory! a huge leap forward in home computing. Then commodore brought out the C16 and followed it quickly with the C64 to compete with sinclair's 48k monstrosity that beat the C16 as it came out.

I loved my VIC20.
