We all know that Howard Dean will break the Clinton record this quarter, by how much is not known, but I think the race for second place will be equally interesting.

I honestly think that John Edwards will surprise and come in second with about 6.0 and 7.0 million.

He has solid support with the trial lawyers.

since he announced he was giving up his senate seat to concentrate on the presidential race his numbers in Iowa and especially South Carolina have risen--he now leads in South Carolina.

Dean will be the big story, but I think when Edwwards says 2.5 million he is low-balling it. I think he may be the surprise runner up to Dean this quarter.
