3. I don't see what that has to do with a winning campaign
strategy. Say what you will about Carter the president but he had an A #1 campaign staff.

By the way, I would take Carter's record over that of Reagan or both Bush's anyday.

--Carter created over 8 million jobs during his administration (compared to job losses under Bush II)

--Carter negotiated the Camp David Accords and Middle East peace treaty.

--Carter passed an energy program which Reagan dismantled. The program was working and by the end of his administration our hold on foreign oil was decreased by 15%.

--Carter completed the task of formal recognition of China.

--Carter pursued a strong anti-Apartied policy in Africa.

--Carter signed one of the great landmark environmental acts of all-time: The Alaskan Lands Bill.

--During the Carter administration the minimum wage was raised twice.

--Carter created the Dept of Education

--Carter appointed more women and minorities to high positions and judicial posts than all the presidents before him combined.

--Carter won the release of all of our hostages from Iran.
