5. This may be a photo-shopped fear, and to some it works...
I cannot related to what you think he "doesn't look like," esp. since the object of your photographic animus was not in that store; but as in the Rodney King case, pictures can be deceiving.

I agree that Starbucks is "between a rock and a hard place," so they are doing only what they have always done: follow the law. I doubt it has hurt their business, and I see no evidence of a wild-wild west or "vigilante justice;" if you have any, please provide. BTW, some of those "town sheriffs" (such as in Tombstone, AR) allowed you could wear a gun or hold it in your hand, but NOT carry concealed. Ironic, ain't it?

If CA had a fair concealed-carry law, then I think the open-carry issue would not become so prominent. Or, gun-control groups can choose to continue picking at scabs.

You've never sat beside someone wearing a gun? If she wore dress-for-success attire and heels, quietly (and inevitably) murmured into a cell-phone and neatly crossed her legs from the bar stool, revealing a Lady Smith, and smiled in your general direction, would she "look like" someone you would sit beside? You may replace my "photo-shopped" girl with the "photo-shopped" guy of your choosing.
