96. Wow... you are
hair-trigger yourself, aren't you?

I was talking about rabies... not letting my dog get chewed up by a coyote. Also, you might look at the fucking map I posted!

Most of the coyote-human interactions in the whole country occur where most people aren't carrying, or couldn't shoot in any case... parks and such.

As to not knowing WTF I'm talking about.... I do Naturalist presentations at a National Park, and coyotes are one of my areas of expertise. You've obviously gotten your expertise watching Wily and the Roadrunner. Too much.

Coyotes are usually fearless of humans in urban/suburban situations, since they aren't hunted there. Coyotes are smart and know the rules, so a coyote that hangs around humans is usually in hopes of food. Humans are a constant source of food for them.

I carry a stick when I walk my 20 lb dog. Not for the coyotes, who will test the dog and owner, hoping to find a couple of wimps and get a meal, but for the goddam dogs who are uncontrolled by their goddam owners. When I bike, I carry Wasp spray and Bear spray... again, not for the coyotes, but for the dogs.
